What I learned from my festival weekend.

It was hot. Damn hot. Hotter than I have ever imagined it could be. Sitting on the grass being cooked real slow...

Where.... Rotterdam at the Blue Grass Festival and it was awesome. The picture are the Della Mae's.  whoot whoot In for a grammy... just saying!!!

I don't know what your music style is but I do have a deep love for blue grass... it's old I know... but there is style... it drips right of it... oozing with the good stuff.

... I digress....

Still it got me thinking.... the bands... the musicians, the market stall sellers, the food... do they all really know what they sell?

Do they?

Okay.. I'm going somewhere here... hold on..

Yes, do they know what they sell?

Sounds easy enough right... food stalls sell food. BUT do they?

Or do they sell comfort on a plate? >>>fries

Or do they sell thinking about the good times? >>>pancakes

That made me think... sometimes we creatives we forget what we are selling... because it might not be what we are creating in the first place......

HUH? stick with me here!

What we create and what we sell might not be the same.

Example here... suppose you are creating a logo for a company.

This logo is what they pay you for but in fact they are REALLY buying visibility and ownership.

Or as a fashion designer you create a dress... but what you are really selling them is: a great night out.

See what I mean.... there is more to what you create... and this is what your clients are paying you for.

If you KNOW what you are really selling.... Well heck you don't even have to push the sales... because they are wanting it!

So knowing what you are selling, really...... is. a good thing!

Will this help you make the sale>>> YES

Will this make your life easier>>> YES

Will this make you an income>>> YES

......

If you are struggling with discovering what you really create/make or sell let me know..

I am here to help. Want to have me set up a free discovery call for you. Contact me and I'll set up a free call. I want to get you started.... and selling.
